Winter Blossom, a Christmas gown

I had a lot of fun creating Tallia's gown for Christmas, 2009. I wanted to make a dress that was timeless, innocent, and luxurious.

Winter Blossom is a tea-length, full-circle gown of cream shantung with an embroidered organza overlay and puffed organza sleeves.  The waist is encircled with a wide, gold sash, which has been tied in a generous bow and pinned with a satin ivory rose.

The gown was worn with a full petticoat to maximize the volume of the skirt.
